The tradition of the 89er Window Contest was always fun for locals and tourists during the 89er weekend. Local shop and business owners in the Historic Downtown area of Guthrie decorate their windows in the theme of the parade.

ELIGIBILITY:  If you have a window at street level in the downtown area of Guthrie, you are eligible to enter.  All entries must be completed by April 19, 2022, to qualify to be judged for the prizes.​

2024 '89ER WINDOW CONTEST

To enter, fill out the Window Contest Entry Form, and turn it in at the American Legion or email it to:

​Then simply decorate your window in the style of this year's parade theme: Pioneer Women, and have fun taking us back in time or bringing us forward in modern women's accomplishments.

Windows will be judged on Theme and Collection.  The window must be completed by April 19th and kept in place until April 23rd to qualify.  Prizeswill be awarded to the top 3 registered windows!​

Get your creative wheels turning.  The 89er Window Contest for all Downtown Guthrie shops, restaurants, and businesses (anyone with a window) is on for 2024!
